Robotic Arm / Gripper Hardware Engineer
Design, prototype, integrate, and debug robotic arms and end-effectors.
What You Will Do
Structural Design and Prototyping
Responsible for the mechanical structural design, rapid prototyping, assembly, and debugging of basic robotic arms and end-effectors such as grippers.
Customized Development and Integration
Independently complete the selection and structural design of customized grippers according to project requirements, while reserving appropriate mounting and wiring interfaces for future hardware such as vision and tactile sensors.
Open-Source Structure Adaptation and Optimization
Replicate, evaluate, and optimize mainstream open-source robotic arm and gripper hardware projects, such as LeRobot, and structurally adapt them to the team’s existing robot platforms.
Manufacturing and Supply Chain Follow-Up
Proficiently use and follow up on manufacturing processes such as 3D printing, CNC machining, and laser cutting, ensuring machining quality of components and progress of assembly delivery.
Mechatronic Joint Debugging
Work with algorithm and control engineers to participate in low-level motor selection, testing, and practical validation of mechanical transmission systems.
What We Expect
Academic Background
Major in mechanical engineering, automation, mechatronics, or related fields. Bachelor’s degree or above.
Software Tools
Proficient in mainstream 3D modeling and engineering drawing software, such as SolidWorks and Onshape, with a solid foundation in mechanical design.
Mechatronic Foundation
Basic understanding of motor control, such as stepper motors and servo motors, as well as common transmission mechanisms. Practical hardware selection experience is required/preferred.
Overall Qualities
Strong hands-on ability, able to independently troubleshoot and solve problems during hardware assembly and debugging.

开源结构适配与优化
负责复刻、评估并优化主流的开源机械臂及夹爪硬件项目(如 LeRobot 等),并能够将其结构化适配到团队现有的机器人平台上。
制造与供应链跟进
熟练运用并跟进 3D 打印、CNC 机加工、激光切割等制造环节,确保零部件的加工质量与组装交付进度。
机电联合调试
配合算法与控制工程师,参与底层电机的选型、测试,以及机械传动系统的实际验证。

专业背景
机械工程、自动化、机电一体化或相关专业,本科及以上学历。
软件工具
熟练使用主流三维建模与工程制图软件(如 SolidWorks、Onshape 等),具备扎实的机械设计基础。
机电基础
对基础电机控制(如步进电机、伺服电机等)和常见传动机构有初步了解,具备实际的硬件选型经验。
综合素质
具备极强的动手能力,能够独立排查和解决硬装配与调试过程中的问题。
